Austin got his first haircut today! He did such a good job. We are so proud of him for sitting still. We kept some length to it to make the grandparents happy =)

Last night I slept in my big boy bed for the first time. During the day, Mom and Dad moved all my important stuff, like my animals and books into my new room. This made it feel very comfortable for me. When it was night-night time, Mom put Elmo and Pooh into my bed and I crawled in with them. I slept the whole night without waking up. Boy, I feel refreshed this morning. Hooray for me!

Lately, Austin has been talking and singing so much. He has really said some cute things over the last few days and I wanted to share them with everyone.

Every morning, he says "Bye, Shimul" when he goes to school, followed by "Bye, Mommy".
Last night, he said "I am pretty just like Mommy"
He says "Oh my goodness" when he spills his juice or when we ride the tea cup on the carosel
He likes to say "I don't know either" when he doesn't know the answer to your question

I am really proud of Austin these days; he certainly has his "tough" moments of tantrums and not knowing what he really wants, but in general he is such a good kid and so loving and fun. I really admire how he goes to school all day which I am sure is hard at times for him (it is hard for me to send him there some days), but still comes home happy and makes the evenings so enjoyable. Now, if I can just get started on the potty training, I will feel even better!

I have had a wonderful holiday time. I really had a great time with Santa this year. I was excited about opening presents that Santa brought to me, although i was a little upset that he ate my cookies. After Christmas, some of my family came to visit. This was lots of fun because i had lots of people to play with. I learned how to build towers for my cars and how to play Guitar Hero (i like both the guitar and drums). Cannot wait until next Christmas!
