Mom took me to the doctor yesterday, and I was so much better. The doctor said that it was okay for me to go swimming again! Hooray!

Last night was my first swimming lesson. I did so good. I like to splash and pretend that i know how to swim by moving my arms and kicking around. I am not scared of the water at all. The teachers also taught me some new songs to sing while i play in the water! (sorry, no pictures, no cameras allowed in this pool)

bummer. I am sick today. Don't worry, cause i am still in my normal good mood. I have an ear infection and am dripping snot. Dad took me to the doctor this morning to get me some medicine. Now we are staying home. I hope i feel better so i can play with grandma and grandpa this weekend, and can go swimming by monday!

Last night we met up with some of my friend's from work for dinner. Austin got to see his friend Lily, and finally met one of my co-workers Jane (Jane is one of the people that arranged for the baby shower they threw for us at work).

I had a action packed weekend. On Saturday morning, mom and dad took me to the pool. I did really well at my swimming. But everytime that mom got the camera out, i got shy and stopped.

After that we did my favorite afternoon outing - we went to Wegman's to grocery shop! I sure like to look at all the people.

In the evening, Grandpa came over. I had fun playing with him and showing him how good i can roll over and sit up. Grandpa and Dad set up my new big boy car seat in mom's car.

Then we all went to Reston Town Center for a festival call Taste of the Town. It was so much fun. Mom, Dad, and Grandpa ate lots of different food, and I got to listen to a band (Uncle Stevo teaches me about music so that i will not be a geek). By the evening i was so worn out, but i was a good kid. (here are some pictures)

On Sunday, it was Father's Day, so i gave dad some great presents, including my hand print and a card that i made at school.

It's time for me to go to school now...

Yesterday, Grandpa came over to visit Austin. Austin showed off how good his is at sitting and took a nap with Pa.

In the afternoon, we headed out to take Austin to his first baseball game. The adventure started with a Metro ride into DC (Austin enjoyed his first subway ride!). Then we met up with Shimul's alumni group for some pre-game tailgating. Austin had a good time partaking in some good activities such as "how much dirt can i put in my mouth while mom and dad are not looking". Then it was time to head in to the stadium. Since it was now Austin's bed time, Austin crashed while we were on our way - by the time the game started, he was sound asleep. Only problem was that whenever something exciting happened, and the crowd cheered, it woke him up with a startle, and he would cry. By the 6th inning, he was pretty upset from being woken up nonstop (that, or he did not like to see the Nat's losing 6-0!). So we headed on back to the Metro, and were on our way home.

I cannot wait to take him to his first soccer game now =)
