Merry Christmas to all my family and friends! Today I am eight weeks old. I have had a fun weekend so far. I had my first overnight trip to Grandpa Lynn and Grandma Patsy's house. Aunt Denise was there, too. Mom, Dad and me will be coming back over here a little later in the week.

Mom bought me a Bumbo chair a few days ago. It is a really neat chair. I am still too young to sit in it for too long, but with mom and dad's help, I can sit for a little while. Today, dad taught me how to play NCAA football on the playstation while I sat in my chair.

Today was a nice day outside. My Mom, Nana and Nani took me for a walk. I slept the whole time. I have enjoyed Nana and Nani visiting me.

So maybe its not textbook crawling yet, but our little guy can scoot! First, in the afternoon, we put him on his belly for some tummy time and watched as he kept trying to push his legs straight, so we put a pilly under his feet. Sure enough, he pushed himself up and scooted across the floor, as if he were crawling. We sure got excited.

Then, last night i was laying on the couch with him on my belly, belly-to-belly. He did the same action of straighting his legs, and managed to crawl all the way up over my shoulder.

Well.. i was excited at least to see him scoot. Now, the problem starts in 3 to 6 months when he really learns to start crawling and i have to baby-proof all of our stairs

This weekend, my friend Jayson came to visit me from Virginia Beach. Jayson is almost 4 months old. He was smiling and playing with me. I played for a bit, but then I got tired and went to sleep. I hope Jayson comes again to visit when I am a little older and can play more. Check out our pics under "My Friends".

I should have read this *before* becoming a dad.

Dad needed new shoes. Mom and Nana went to the mall yesterday to buy Dad an early Christmas present (from Mom and me). I wanted to help pick out the shoes too, but I just stayed home and played with Dad. Mom did a good job in picking out the shoes and Dad was happy.

Last night while Nana and Nani watched Austin, Shimul and I had our first date AC (after child). Never knew that going to eat fajitas and drink beer could be so much fun. However, we found that we talked about the little guy the whole time.
