Stuck in the fort
Sometimes I get stuck in the fort, and Daddy helps me get out. Daddy always gets stuck because he is too big. I help him get out too!

I am so good at skiing on Wii fit. Wii tells I am well balanced, but I like to ski into the fence.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Today, I am celebrating Thanksgiving with my mom and dad. Mom is making a turkey for the first time. We went for a walk this morning and I got to ride in the wagon with my friend Pooh. I found a big stick and I was having fun walking around with it and singing. Dad said we are going to watch football, but I think I like to watch Pooh!

Austin goes to the doctor with Mommy
Today, Austin stayed home again. I had a doctor's appt this morning, so Austin came with me. He did suprisingly well, it helps that my doctor is quite prompt. Austin didn't like waiting in the room and kept trying to "escape" and open the door. Once, the doctor came in, he was okay and he got to hear the baby's heartbeat. He wasn't so sure about me lying down on the the table and when I got up he said "Yeah, Mommy". Then, I had to have my blood drawn so I said, Austin mommy has to get a shot. At this point, he was sitting with me on the patient table so he rolled up his sleeve and said "Austin, shot, too". Well, as the nurse was drawing my blood, Austin patted me on the back and said "Good, job Mommy". It was too cute. Austin got a bandage on his arm too.

out of the mouth of babes..
Austin has said several cute things today (some he has been saying for a few days), including:
"Santa hi, no lap, no hug" [I'll greet Santa, but i am not sitting on that old man's lap, and certainly not giving him a hug!]
"Austin sit water, wet, no mall, daddy sorry, new pants" [Austin's longest sentence ever after I put him in a wet shopping cart and soaked his pants, shortening our trip to the mall to go back home to change clothes]
"Austin swimmingpoo, Asley, Teeve" [Austin informed me that Ashely and Steve were taking him to the pool today]
"Buster bath, clean" [Austin kept telling me all day that Buster (from his cartoon) is now clean. He got very upset later in the day when watching this episode again.. i don't think he liked Buster getting a bath]
"Daddy, run!" [Austin got upset that I wasn't moving fast enough in the mall]
"Daddy, up!" [translated: "Daddy, stop napping and play with me!"]
"Daddy.. Chicken-fries.. mmm" [Austin expressed his enjoyment over our lunch]
"Hewwo, Papa, how you, Austin goood, bye Papa" [normally not an exciting sentence, except that I overhead this conversation between Austin and the (computer) mouse - he was pretending that he was talking to Grandpa]

sick day!
Austin had a "sick day" for the first time in ages today. He ran a very slight fever, just enough to be sent home. So Monday Mom stayed with him, and Tuesday will be Dad's turn. We will see what type of adventures we can get into in the morning!

Toddler II
This week, I started a new class at school. I am in the Toddler II class and I will stay here until I am 3 years old. So far, I like it and all my friends are in my class too.
