I am 1 today!

Hi everyone, today I am 1 year old! Mom and Dad were so excited this morning... I read my birthday card while mom got my breakfast ready. Mom put a silly birthday cake hat on my head :) I tried to take it off.

Nani and Nana are here too and last weekend Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Denise came.

I have a birthday party today at school. I am excited.

Grandpa Babysitting

Grandpa came over and played with me Saturday morning. I chased him down in my walker and then I played some basketball with the game Uncle Steve and Aunt Ashley gave me. Grandpa fed me lunch and I kept throwing my napkin in the floor (I also threw my potatoes on the wall but don't tell Mom). I showed Grandpa how to put my ball in the bus and then I walked across the floor (ok - how about 4 steps)!

Another Fun Weekend

Uncle Steve and Aunt Ashley came up from North Carolina this weekend. They brought me a present that Aunt Ashley helped me open. All the adults tried to put it together so I just played with the box and the balls. It was a lot of fun to shoot hoops and I finally got some dunking in. To tell the truth I really preferred dancing with the music. I really think the older folks had as much fun as me.

Busy Week

Wow last week was a busy week for me. I am really getting this walker thing down and can go fast. I can go forward and backwards and like to chase people through the house. I also got a new bus on Saturday - sometimes Dad pushes me and I ride the bus; sometimes I push the bus, and sometimes I just sit on the bus, get off, store my ball in the seat and then push again.
On Sunday Mom and Dad took me to Pumpkinville, and Dad and I went down this really long slide.

New shoes and a cool toy for me!

Today, my mom bought me my first pair of real shoes. They are so cool, but I am not used to walking or cruising with these shoes yet. They will be good for me when I go to my new class and get to play outside. If I get used to these shoes, I think mom will buy me some more...

I also got a new toy today from grandpa. It is a school bus with the Little People on it. I can sit on the bus and mom and dad push me around or I can push the bus around using the handle. I love it :)

I'm a big boy now!

I am getting promoted to the Infant 2 class at school. I will start my new class on Oct. 15. I will get to play with my friends who are mobile like me. Yesterday, I got to spend some time in the class and we went outside to play. I had a fun time!
