Today, I went to pick up Austin from school and decided that I should go do something "fun" with him. Lately, I have been pretty tired after work so just bringing him home and playing has been what I have been doing.

Austin was having a lot of fun at school today when I picked him up and it took me longer than usual to leave. I finally asked him if he wanted to go to the mall or Chuck E Cheese, he picked the mall. As we were driving to the mall, he was talking about how he needed to go to the grocery store and buy more pineapple.

Well, we got to the mall parking lot and he really insisted that I take him grocery shopping; I couldn't resist. Austin had a lot of fun getting the pineapple and he said he wanted to buy "more stuff". He picked a banana and some oranges. I had to convince him to check out before he wanted more stuff. He has lately wanted to buy more stuff wherever we go (i.e target, etc).

Next, we decided to go to a restaurant so I told Jason to meet us at Olive Garden. It was an adventure indeed. Austin did so well at the store and restaurant. I am so proud of him these days.

Once, Dylan comes, I look forward to taking them both out to do more fun things!

Austin's personality is growing day by day and he says the cutest things...

First, this morning, the whole family (Jason, Austin and I) were car pooling to work/daycare. The previous evening I told Austin that Dad's car got stuck in the parking lot at school. So this morning, Jason tells Austin we have to do to school in Mom's car. So Austin and I are walking to the garage and he says "Daddy's car stuck, Daddy buy a new car". Ha-ha, it was too funny!

Then, tonight we were doing night time prayers and we said "thank you for mommy and daddy" and Austin added and "thank you for shows" (since he likes to watch a few of his favorites).

Finally, we were reading a book tonight and Jason asked, what do you do with the flowers, do you give them to your girlfriend? Austin said he didn't know so Jason asked him, "Who is your girlfriend" and he said "mommy". I was so happy!

I sure had a good time with Papa this weekend. My favorite thing to do is to watch Papa build towers, then I knock them down! Papa also showed me how to make my cars go really fast. I sure missed him this morning when he wasn't here. See you soon Papa!

I sure am excited about being a big brother. Mom reads a story to me each night about my job as a big brother. I will teach my little brother how to sleep and eat and play and walk. Sometimes, when i am supposed to be napping, I sneak into the baby's room and check out his stuff. I am glad he will have some of my old animals.

My little brother's name will be Dylan Travis (Travis County is where Austin is located, so we both have Texas ties!). I cannot wait for Dylan to come here in April.

In other news.. I am learning to go pee in the potty. But sometimes, after my bath when i am running around without a diaper, I like to pee in strange spots. The other day, I decided to pee off the balcony from upstairs onto the main floor. Dad tried to be mad, but I could tell he thought it was funny.

This weekend Papa is going to visit. Maybe he will take me to get chickenfries at Red Robin.

Today, Daddy and I had a wonderful day together. In the morning, Daddy and I went to the coffee shop. I got to have my own donut! After that, we went swimming at the indoor pool. At first, I was a little nervous since I had not been swimming in a long time, but then we had a good time. I pulled Dad in the shallow water, and Dad carried me in the deep water. Next, we went to the mall so that I could check on the new stuff at the Mickey Mouse store. We ate lunch (chickenfries, my favorite!) and rode the horse. After my nap, we then went to a museum. I got to see lots of airplanes. I was so excited to see so many things. My favorite was the "yell-o" (yellow) plane. And then on the way home we got to stop at the car wash. I really love going through the car wash and watching the soap. Now Dad and I are tired and ready for bed!

Nana and Nani have been taking such great care of me these last two weeks! They take me to school and pick me up early every day. I love to play with them. This week the weather was nice and they took me to the park. My favorite things to play with them are sitting in the fort, playing ring around the rosies with Tad and Leap and reading books.

I love you Nana and Nani!! I might be wearing you out by now!!
